Hannover goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler has announced he is leaving following their relegation.

BILD says the former Manchester United junior is a target for Manchester City and Bayer Leverkusen, while he has also been linked with Liverpool.

Zieler declared on Facebook:

"What will happen, I do not know. But I want to be honest with you. I have grown fond of Hannover: but I'm very ambitious. And my goal is to play well in the coming season.

"There are requests, but a decision has yet been made.

"I want to thank fans for their support in recent months, although it certainly was not always easy."
