Man City linked with new move for Barcelona striker Henry

Manchester City are being linked with Barcelona striker Thierry Henry.

The Sunday Mirror says Henry will be put on the transfer list this summer, sparking a worldwide scramble for his signature.

Henry left Arsenal to join Barcelona in 2007 and he has won the La Liga title and Champions League during his spell at the Nou Camp.

But at 32, the Frenchman has not been part of Pep Guardiola's plans this season. He has netted just twice in 13 appearances this season.

Henry, on a £7.5m-a-year deal at Barcelona until 2011, was linked with a move to New York Red Bulls last month, but a move in Europe is also a possibility, with Manchester City likely to show an interest.
