Lens defender Gabriel Alejandro Cichero is being watched by Manchester City.

City boss Roberto Mancini is keen to find himself a new defensive signing in January and El Meditteraneo says he is interested in Cichero.

The 27 year-old is a confirmed target for City and Levante according to sources close to Lens.

Villarreal are also interested in the Venezuela international, who in six years has played for eight clubs.
