The Brazil international defender's agent, Antonio Caliendo, has claimed that Inter rejected a £35million offer from a club last season and now with former Inter boss Roberto Mancini taking over at Eastlands, Maicon has quickly been linked with the English club.
But Caliendo says his client has 'excellent terms' with the Italian club and despite working so well with Mancini in the past, will not end up at the City of Manchester Stadium.
"This doesn't surprise me because Mancini knows Maicon like no other and together they did great things and won so much," he told fcinternews.it.
"But at Inter, Maicon has excellent terms with both the team and the club. And in any case I don't think he is a player who could move in January."
