Manchester City look like they will scrap their reserves team.
The Eastlands club have a side of mainly U21 players in the Barclays Premier Reserve League North but officials believe it would serve more purpose to loan out their talented youngsters, much like Tottenham do.
City chiefs will look into the prospect of getting rid of the team and then sending their promising talent to lower league clubs so they can develop at a higher standard than that of the aforementioned competition.
