Manchester City legend Rodney Marsh is dead against Carlos Tevez's recall.
Tevez could be back for this week's crunch clash with Chelsea.
Marsh told the Sunday Express: "When I joined City from QPR, City already had a wonderful team and were really flying. I didn't know anyone, so I came in cold.
"So you would think I would say 'yes, play him', but I wouldn't bring him back because he is so volatile. There are so many negatives around him. Of course, it's a tough call for Mancini, and he is the only person who can judge what is best for the team.
"Imagine Tevez on the bench. All eyes will be on him, every TV camera, looking at his reaction when his manager tells him to warm up." "But Tevez has been there before. He is known to the fans to the players.
