Manchester City are planning a £40 million bid for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.
The Daily Star Sunday says Napoli have opened the door for Manchester City to make a £40million-plus swoop for their Champions League tormentor Cavani.
Representatives of the Uruguayan striker, who scored both goals in City's midweek defeat in Naples, met Etihad officials during their midweek trip to Italy.
It's thought Napoli are willing to listen to offers for Cavani, 24, who is high on Roberto Mancini's wanted list.
