Manchester City powerbrokers were in attendance as Patrick Vieira's U21 team defeated Everton.

Two goals from Albert Rusnak and one from Marcos Lopes in a devastating 10 minute spell in the first-half did the damage on a morale-boosting afternoon for the club.

Lopes captained the team in the absence of Mathias Bossaerts.

Manuel Pellegrini, Vincent Kompany and Txiki Begiristain were in the stands for the 3-0 win.
