Manchester City are keeping tabs on Kenwyne Jones at Sunderland.

The Manchester Evening News says City boss Mark Hughes is in the market for a centre-forward.

There could be a deal to be done for Jones especially if Sunderland fall through the trap door, as their end-of-season slump suggests they might, while Portsmouth's financial position could lead them to sell first-choice England striker Peter Crouch.
