Manchester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is extending his loan at Cardiff City until January.

Recently named as the Danish FA's Young Player of the Year for 2007, Schmeichel joined Cardiff on loan towards the end of October and has started all four Championship games since the move, keeping his first clean sheet there in Saturday's 1-0 win over Ipswich.
