Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says the arrival of Gigi Buffon from Juventus wouldn't surprise him.

"It is out of my hands what goes on at the club but I wouldn't be surprised if he brought somebody in," Hart told Sky Sports News.

"We have a strong board behind us and new signings will be welcome, but in the right places and for the right reasons.

"I think we can do good things this year."
