Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has played down his chances of being England's World Cup No1.

Hart is still keen to push Portsmouth's David James and West Ham's Robert Green all the way in the battle for the starting position this summer.

He said: "It's a great prospect. I respect it is the England squad and that it is a very high level to get into.

"I am doing everything I can to be involved but there are some great goalkeepers also looking for the same thing.

"I am just going to do everything I can to give myself the best opportunity."
