Man City keeper Hart: Loan system no good for senior players

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart admits he saw a different side of the game as a loan player.

Hart, in and out at West Ham last season, harboured misgivings at his treatment by David Moyes. He believes loan players are disposable, easily used as scapegoats.

"It's difficult when you're on loan, especially when you're not a young player who people may have sympathy for," he said.

"I'm older and being who I am and what I am, I'm there to be shot at. Especially if I go on loan to a club that doesn't necessarily have a good season. I knew that when I went [to West Ham].

"I'm young. I feel fresh, I feel strong, I'm ready to go. And I'm ready to give a whole lot more to football. I want to play. At the moment I'm here [in America] and happy with how they've treated me. It's obvious what's going on.

"Am I disappointed? No, because I went on loan with the best intentions. I'm always going to be a fighter. I put myself out there, I put myself in front of people. I try and do my best. That's never going to change."
