Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart insists he won't go into a "sulk" after the arrival of new No1 Shay Given.
He told Sky Sports News: "There is no point in sulking or being any other way about it. I have not lost my job, I have just lost my place in the team.
"I can work harder, look to get better and obviously pick up what I can along the way. You just don't know what is going to happen tomorrow, so I live for now.
"I need to be playing first-team football if I want to play for England, so that's my aim it the moment, to try and force my way back into the Man City team.
"My desire to play for England is as strong as anyone's. It goes without saying. There is only one place available, goalkeeper-wise, I want to be knocking on that door soon."
