Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says England's dismal World Cup is a low point in his career.
He has been distraught, his first appearances in the World Cup finals leaving him in a daze.
"It's the worst I have ever felt - it's a strange, empty feeling. I have put everything into this tournament. Ultimately it has left me completely gutted.
"We are aware that a lot of people have made huge sacrifices to follow us out here. We can only apologise but we honestly haven't left anything out there on the pitch.
"But things have definitely gone to plan."
