Man City keeper Hart: I had an idea where Chelsea's Lampard would go

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has revealed he had some insight into where Frank Lampard's penalty may go today.

The England number one denied Chelsea veteran Lampard his 200th goal for the club when he saved from the spot in the second half of City's eventual 2-0 win at the Etihad Stadium and he suggests it practice with the national team that helped him make the right decision.

"Lamps is a big hero of mine and it was nice to save it, but I gave it away so I had to," said Hart after saving low to his right following his foul on Demba Ba.

"Demba Ba was clever and left his knee in on me, so hopefully the save helped in the victory.

"It's something I practise a lot with England with him, and he's a great penalty-taker. I just had an idea that was what was going to happen."
