Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was full of praise for Pablo Zabaleta after his matchwinning performance in victory over Wigan Athletic.

Zabaleta picked up the man-of-the-match award for an all-action display in the unaccustomed position of midfield, and his keeper agrees with all the plaudits that have gone to the Argentinean.

Hart told City's website: "That's the kind of thing you really want. He was asked to do a job and came through with flying colours. He got stuck in and came away with the ball, even though he was out of position he kept it simple by getting on with the job."
