Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given rates Wolves striker Kevin Doyle among the best in the Premier League.

Doyle turned in a hard-working performance in the Republic of Ireland's victory in Armenia on Friday.

Given declared: “Kevin was immense – the ultimate team player. He was brilliant. People should recognise him as one of the best strikers in the Premier League. For us, he’s invaluable.”
