Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has forgiven Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane for his head-kick when club's faced off earlier this month.
The Senegalese was shown a red-card after catching Ederson in the face with his boot as Liverpool went on to lose 5-0.
Mane received a three-match ban, but the Brazilian says all is well between them after the incident.
Asked if the two had corresponded, Ederson said: "Yes, I had contact with him, he sent me a message," the 24-year-old said.
"I told him to stay calm, those things happen inside the pitch, it could happen anytime. I told him to not worry and wished him a good season."
