Manchester City are keeping tabs on Spartak Moscow striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
AS says City made an approach for the Russian international last month and will try again for the prolific forward at the end of the season.
City boss Sven Goran Eriksson, however, faces competition from Real Madrid for Pavlyuchenko.
