Man City, Juventus target Iniesta ponders Barcelona free transfer

Andres Iniesta is ready to push for a free transfer from Barcelona in January.

The Barca captain is prepared to quit midseason, fed up with his treatment by the current board as his contract is allowed to wind down.

Don Balon says Iniesta wants his deal paid out and the freedom to move where he wishes. Manchester City and Juventus are watching developments closely.

The midfielder believes Barca have no intention of handing him new terms and only prevented him from leaving over the summer because of politics.

After Neymar's departure, the current regime could ill-afford to lose Iniesta and the skipper believes that is the reason why offers were not entertained from interested clubs.
