Manchester City have jumped ahead of Chelsea in the race for Real Madrid fullback Danilo.

The Daily Mail says City are leading Chelsea in the chase for £30million-rated Real Madrid right-back Danilo.

Pep Guardiola has already signed Kyle Walker from Tottenham and hopes to add Benjamin Mendy from Monaco soon while a move for Southampton's Ryan Bertrand has also not been ruled out.

Brazil international Danilo can cover at left-back too but has failed to hold down a starting place at Madrid owing to the form of Dani Carvajal.

Madrid bought him from Porto for £27m and now want £30m.
