Manchester City are reportedly interested in Arsenal target Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The Telegraph is reporting Manuel Pellegrini has his sights set on the Sevilla midfielder and is prepared to compete with the Gunners for the 25-year-old Polish international.

It is understood Krychowiak has a £21million release clause in his current contract.

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the midfield enforcer for the past 18 months, but City could swoop in and claim the player from under the noses of their Premier League rivals when the transfer window reopens in January.
