Manchester City have joined the scramble for St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal and Newcastle United are regarded as being at the front of the queue for the Gabon international.

However, Sportmediaset says City are also interested in the former AC Milan junior.

It's understood Aubameyang is under consideration with doubts persisting over the futures of Argentine pair Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero.
