Manchester City are in swap talks with Inter Milan over the sale of midfielder Elano.

The Sunday Times says City boss Mark Hughes has granted the opportunity to move Elano on to Internazionale, albeit at a knockdown price.

Jose Mourinho, Inter's manager, has offered City Patrick Vieira, left-sided Brazil international Mancini or Colombia centre-back Nelson Rivas in exchange.
