Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has stated that his side will be going for the win in the midweek Champions League encounter against Juventus.
City endured a disappointing 4-1 defeat against Liverpool over the weekend and while they will be hoping to recover from the shock result as soon as possible, it will not be easy as the Premier League side now prepare to travel to Turin to square off against resurgent Italian Champions Juventus in Europe's top club competition on Wednesday.
Given the fact that City are well positioned in the group, many feel that the Premier League side well be better served going for a draw against Juventus but Pellegrini has revealed that his side will not be taking the conservative route on the night.
Pellegrini said: "The important thing is to try to recover our performance. It's important to try to win, we always try to win.
"If you can't win then, of course, it's always good to get a point, but we are not going to go to Juventus just to try to draw."
