Manchester City included a buy-back option in their sale of Pablo Maffeo to Stuttgart.

City sold Maffeo to VfB last week, with the Spaniard spending last season on-loan at Girona.

Kicker says City have protected themselves by including a buy-back option to the tune of €20m.

"I want to play every game," said Maffeo.

"Although the coach decides - but I feel good. I want to play in the first game."
