Manchester City fullback Nedum Onuoha is set to move to Blackburn Rovers.
The News of the World says Onuoha could be used as bait to prise Roque Santa Cruz away from Blackburn.
City boss Mark Hughes signed the Paraguay striker, 27, for Rovers 18 months ago and hopes to be reunited.
But new Ewood boss Sam Allardyce may ask for England Under-21 defender Onuoha, 22, in part exchange.
