Former Manchester City defender Sylvain Distin believes that the Citizens have a great chance of winning the Premier League title this season.

Current league leaders City will be hopeful of continuing their good form when they square off against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium this weekend and ahead of the game, Cherries defender Distin believes that his former side have a great chance of making it a third league title in the past five years.

Distin told City's official website: "I think City have a great chance this year because the teams behind have been quite inconsistent and I think everything is looking bright for the club.

"We'll look to take points today of course, but I only wish City and the supporters the very best going forward."
