Manchester City are weighing up a bid for Benfica winger Fabio Coentrao.
The Mirror says City chiefs have been impressed by Coentrao's form at the World Cup with Portugal.
Coentrao, 23, is also attracting interest from Europe's big guns, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
City, however, have got money to spend and they are braced to splash the cash and while other clubs are being cautious they are prepared to buy even bigger.
Benfica rate the midfielder in the £20 million class.
