Nigerian starlet Kelechi Nwakali is hoping to play alongside idol Yaya Toure at Manchester City.

Nwakali was one of the key players in helping Nigeria lift the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in Chile recently, winning the Golden Ball, and the youngster is being tipped to soon join City's youth academy.

Following his exploits in Chile, the younger brother of City youngster Chidiebere Nwakali has now set his sights on playing for the City first team and expressed his desire to feature alongside Ivory Coast hero Toure.

Nwakali said: "I want to play for a side that's going places, like Manchester City."

Before adding: "I love watching him (Toure) play because he loves to win. That's all he wants. You can see it in the way he plays, the way he runs and even in the way he walks on the pitch."
