Manchester City are finalising a deal for Partizan Belgrade defender Stefan Savic.
The Daily Mail says Savic is on the brink of becoming a Manchester City player in a £6million deal.
The Montenegro defender was in Manchester for a medical on Tuesday - 24 hours after Gael Clichy completed his move from Arsenal.
Boss Roberto Mancini revealed to the Italian media over the weekend that the Savic transfer was 'done', though it may yet be delayed by the need for a work permit.
Serbian champions Partizan have already confirmed that talks are at an advanced stage over 20-year-old centre-back and the deal should be rubberstamped by the end of the week.
Savic will join Clichy in a revamped defensive line-up, although it is unclear whether he is ready for immediate first-team action.
