Manchester City striker Jo has been fined.

The Daily Mail says City manager Mark Hughes has fined his struggling centre forward Jo, after the Brazilian jeopardised his recovery from tonsillitis with a late-night visit to a city centre nightclub.

Hughes chose to discipline the £19million recruit after learning of 21-year-old Jo's night out in the run-up to the 2-0 defeat at Bolton nine days ago.
