Man City hero Mills: So many Man Utd players NOT up to it

Former Manchester City fullback Danny Mills says Manchester United's players are simply not good enough.

Paul Pogba has suffered severe criticism for his performances since his world record transfer and Zlatan Ibrahimovic hasn't scored a domestic goal since the beginning of September.

"I thought Manchester United would be great this season," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"I thought that when Mourinho came in, who's an experienced manager who's done all sorts in the Premier League, a fresh start, big club, made some very, very big signings with some good players who were already there, a fantastic goalkeeper, I thought they'd map their challenge.

"Suddenly now it looks like a much bigger job than we thought.

"Zlatan, Pogba, I think they're great players.

"They would be in my squad, if not in my team every day of the week.

"But I think there are a lot of United players who maybe aren't up to it.

"I think Zlatan and Pogba are being dragged down by the standard of everyone else."
