Man City hero Marsh on boot cleaning duty at Stoke!

Former Manchester City and QPR star Rodney Marsh is on boot cleaning duty!

Marsh will have to clean the boots of every Stoke City player as a forfeit after losing an online argument with supporters.

The 69-year-old tweeted back in November he would "drive to Stoke and personally clean every players boots" if they were first in the running order on Match of the Day. However he was forced to eat his own words when Stoke were shown first after their 3-2 win over Chelsea on December 7.

And now Marsh will swap the sunnier climes of the US for the Britannia Stadium where he will have a round a dozen pairs of boots to clean.

Once he has polished all the boots, they will be signed by the players and auctioned off for a children's charity, the Donna Louise Children's Hospice in Stoke.
