Former Manchester City midfielder Didi Hamann feels Manuel Pellegrini's job is coming under greater scrutiny. City go into today's Manchester derby without a win in three after League Cup elimination by Newcastle followed defeat at West Ham and the Champions League collapse away to CSKA Moscow.
"He may have a few years left on his contract, but he's got to produce results," Hamann told the London Evening Standard.
"I think he'll be feeling the heat because if you're about to get knocked out of the Champions League, out of the League Cup, and you've only got the league and the FA Cup to go - and by the way it's going at the moment they could be trailing by a long way come Christmas the way Chelsea's going - you have to say he must be feeling the heat."
