Manchester City have no plans to open new contract talks with manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Pellegrini won the Capital One Cup and Premier League Double in his first season at City.
The Manchester Evening News says it is thought both club and manager are happy with the three-year deal the Chilean signed when he took over last summer and have no current plans to extend or improve it.
City officials believe the contract offered to Pellegrini was one which reflected his standing as a respected top European manager and made allowances for such triumphs.
