Manchester City have big plans for their MLS franchise, New York City FC.
City owner Sheikh Mansour paid £70million for New York City FC. And former City, Rangers, Sunderland and America midfielder Claudio Reyna has been appointed as director of football.
A Manchester City source told the Daily Star Sunday: "It is absolutely certain that the club will sign two really big names to launch the franchise.
"Big is the operative word, too, because everything about New York is big, exciting and glamorous."
