Bologna have turned down an alleged offer from Manchester City for young gun Gaston Ramirez.
The 20-year old, who has already represented Uruguay on two occasions, has become a target for a number of clubs in Europe with City being one of them.
Ramirez's agent, Vincenzo D'Ippolito, told Sky Sport Italia that the cashed-up Eastlands clubs came forward with an offer but Bologna made it clear they want more money for the promising talent.
"It's a concrete offer from Manchester City," he said.
"I don't know what amount but Bologna, for now, said no. These are the first signs, we'll see what happens.
"Bologna want at least 20 (£17.5m) million for him."
