Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been handed an incredible £300 million summer transfer budget.
The Manchester Evening News says Guardiola has been told he can spend £300m to transform Manchester City – with Bernardo Silva just the start of his summer spree.
The City manager plans to make six major signings this summer, with two fullbacks targeted and at least one centre back.
Guardiola laid out his plans in meetings with director of football Txiki Begiristain and chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
He was told he would be given the funds to turn City into genuine Premier League title contenders after ending his first season at the club trophyless.
