Man City had agreement on paper with Ronaldinho

Manchester City had an agreement with Barcelona ace Ronaldinho, before the Brazilian committed to AC Milan yesterday.

The Sun says City and Milan were involved in negotiations with the Brazilian striker's club Barcelona yesterday.

The Eastlands outfit made a £25million bid and later produced a letter from Ronaldinho's brother and agent Roberto de Assis agreeing to the City move. But hours later, Milan also showed Barcelona a letter from De Assis which said that Ronaldinho would sign for the Italians.
