Big-spending Manchester City slumped to their fourth pre-season loss in five matches when they lost to German club Borussia Dortmund 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Paraguay international Lucas Barrios converted from the penalty spot after Gareth Barry brought down Shinji Kagawa in the 9th minute to open the scoring for Borussia before Jo equalised for City two minutes after.
Barrios had a penalty saved by Joe Hart on the stroke of half-time but Kagawa restored the lead before a third Dortmund goal in the 81st minute finished off the match.
