Man City go without Kolo Toure for Champions League

Manchester City have omitted Kolo Toure from their 2012/13 Champions League squad.

The reigning English champions have submitted a 24-man list for Europe's premier club competition as they prepare for Group D alongside Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax.

Ivorian centre-back Toure was not included on Roberto Mancini's list, placing plenty of doubt on his future at the club with a potential move to Turkish club Fenerbahce still on the cards prior to the close of their window on Wednesday night.

City kick-off their Champions League campaign against Spanish champions Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on September 18.
