Man City go for Falcao after Negredo crock

Manchester City are set to revive their interest for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao. The Daily Express says City are moving for the Colombian with Alvaro Negredo out for several months after suffering a serious foot injury. Tests have revealed he has fractured the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.

News of Negredo's injury will rev up City's interest in a move for want-away Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian, who is also on Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United's wanted list, was thought to be on the brink of returning to Madrid - where he played previously for Atletico - to join Real Madrid.

But those negotiations hit a snag and reports in France suggest that City are looking to capitalise.
