Manchester City's seven goals against Stoke City has seen them reach a new record.

City are the first English top-flight team to score 29 goals in their first eight league games of the season since Everton in 1894-95 (30).

Kevin de Bruyne was also a record breaker on the day.

Since his City debut in September 2015, De Bruyne has provided 32 assists in the Premier League, more than any other player.
