Manchester City are set for a clear run at Uruguay defender Sebastian Coates.
It emerged this week that City had made contact with Nacional de Montevideo for the 20 year-old.
City are willing to offer €10 million for Coates, who is also interesting AC Milan and Inter Milan.
However, Tuttosport says both Milan clubs see the youngster as a long-term option and are unlikely to make a firm offer for him for another 12 months.
