Manchester City favourite Pablo Zabaleta has opened the door to moving to Italy.

With new manager Manuel Pellegrini promising to bring major changes to the squad it seems Zabaleta could be ready to move if securing first team football becomes an issue.

He told SportItalia: "Serie A is a major championship.

"It's certainly a League I'd like to play in.

"A team? I consider Fiorentina to be an interesting team. I have always liked them since the days of Batistuta.

"Juventus, Milan and Inter are big clubs though."
