Manchester City fullback Shay Facey hopes for a big second-half of the season with Heerenveen.

Facey is on-loan at Heerenveen for the year.

"I want to help the team with the qualities that I have, I need to make sure there's no more red cards," he told FeanFan.

"I thought my chance would come at City, but unfortunately the club had other plans with me. And then came Heerenveen, a club which I have never heard of. I knew only Feyenoord and Ajax. Still, it was my first impression.

"The plans that Heerenveen had and the size of the stadium spoke to me."
