Manchester City fullback Aleksander Kolarov has urged Edin Dzeko to be patient over his super-sub role.

Dzeko has been frustrated by his lack of minutes this season.

Kolarov said: "It is important for us that Edin continues to score, whether from the bench or starting. It is tough, but not just for him. It is the same for me and others who do not play every game. It is hard to keep your form at a high level, but we are professional and need to accept it is the manager's choice."
