Manchester City fullback Aleksandar Kolarov admits manager Manuel Pellegrini is working hard on improving their defensive game.
The Serb can sense City's teamwork is improving under the Chilean.
The defender said: "Pellegrini wants a lot of things from us - to work in a defensive line.
"So we are working a lot on the defence and I feel like we are improving every day but I think as we get used to him we will be playing at a high level.
"I hope it will mean more chances for me. I hope so. Now we have about 24 days till the next break with the national team and I think we have seven games so there will be opportunities. We've got a lot of good players but we will all get a chance to play."
